Below is a list of opportunities to act locally or globally

The much-needed work of the UNESCO Center for Global Friendship, Inc. is made possible by people volunteers who contribute their talents and skills in U.S. and overseas. UCGF is looking for volunteers in the following categories:

Volunteer Coordinator: Recruit volunteers; distribute assignments, monitor results and prepare evaluations for the Executive Board and the Advisory Board.

Community Outreach: Identify and engage potential contributors to our programs; develop and maintain strong relationships with our supporters.

Book Donations and Shipment: Coordinate book delivery, packing and shipping arrangements.

Fundraising Activities: Outline and implement a fundraising strategy.

Letter writing: Write thank you letters for donations and provided services.

Social Events: Coordination: Organize social gatherings for the purpose of recruiting and fundraising.

Grant Writing: Research and write grants

Marketing: Research and write grants.

Social Media: Manage our social media accounts, in coordination with our webmaster.

Newsletter : Distribute and maintain our newsletter current

Finance and Accounting: Assist the Executive Treasurer with the preparation of the yearly budget and regular finance reports to the board

Membership Drive

Website Maintenance: Manage contents, design layout, increase traffic and keep up with technological trends.
