About Us
UNESCO Center for Global Friendship, Inc. (UCGF) is a Connecticut non-member nonstock corporation and a formally recognized club of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (“UNESCO”).
Its mission is to increase awareness and create a more informed public by obtaining and disseminating factual data and educational materials about national and world problems as well as the activities of international organizations.
UCGF makes it a top priority to promote the ideals of UNESCO by building peace in the communities it serves, and to remain compliant with UNESCO’s values, principles and constitutional aims.
UNESCO Center for Global Friendship, Inc. is funded through membership fees, individual donations, revenue from fundraising activities, and other public support.

UNESCO Center for Global Friendship, Inc. is a tax-exempt 501(c) (3) grassroots organization and a member of the U.S. Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations. Our mission is to increase cultural awareness and create a more informed public by obtaining and disseminating factual data and educational materials about national and world problems as well as the activities of international organizations.
